Rosemary Nisbet LibraryThe Rosemary Nisbet Library opened in July 2007, thanks to a generous bequest from the late Rosemary Nisbet, eldest daughter of C. Roger and Heniette Nisbet, also benefactors of the Greater Loveland Historical Society. The library houses, not only the large collection of cook books from the benefactor, but all the collections from the former C. Roger Nisbet Library. Included for research purposes are books related to the history of the greater Loveland area; surrounding county atlases, dating to the late 1800's; past bound copies of the Loveland Herald; Loveland High School Annuals, dating to 1927; Civil War information and writings; limited genealogy of local families; and a large collection of genealogy research books, such as cemetery records, marriage records, and naturalization records from local counties. The library is open to the public during museum hours or by appointment during the week. If you need help with genealogy research, please call to make an appointment so a librarian can assist you. |
