Meet the Instructor: Monica Anne Achberger is an award-winning Loveland artist known for her vibrant, uplifting paintings and positive outlook on life. A graduate of the Columbus College of Art & Design, Monica is a two-time recipient of the Gold Medal Joan Cord Award of Excellence from the Women’s Art Club of Cincinnati. A life-changing kidney transplant from her husband, John, strengthened her passion for using art to inspire others to pursue their dreams and find joy along the way.
Join Monica for a fun and creative evening painting beautiful canvas-on-wood ornaments using a one-of-a-kind process she developed herself.
Monica will guide you step-by-step through acrylic painting techniques to create two beautiful ornaments. When you register, you’ll preselect the two designs you would like to paint. Don’t worry, if you don’t finish both, you will be sent home with supplies!
Whether you keep them for your own tree or give them as a special handmade gift, you’ll leave with unique keepsakes to treasure for years to come.
Ages 13 through adult. Because this class involves acrylic paints and detailed painting techniques, it is best suited for teens and adults. No advanced painting experience is necessary.
